ALADDIN is flying to Buckfastleigh Town Hall for the town’s traditional pantomime.

The Buckfastleigh Pantomime Group is back after a four-year break to entertain audiences from tomorrow (January 19) to Sunday, January 21.

A spokesman for the group said: ‘Go on a magic carpet ride with Aladdin as he tries to win the heart of the Princess Jasmine while escaping the clutches of the evil Empress. Meet the hilarious Widow Twanky, a fine Yorkshire woman with an eye for the gentlemen.’

The pantomime is being directed by Norman and Zoe Robertson.

Zoe said: ‘We’re delighted to be back after a four-year break of bringing pantomime to the people of Buckfastleigh and surrounding areas. We’re looking forward to presenting a lively fun-packed show with all the ingredients of a traditional family pantomime.’
