Thank you very much to Devon County Council and everybody else involved, for repairing Marine Parade in Shaldon so well after the ravages of Storm Emma.

Not only do we have the smoothest of road surfaces, looking suitably spring-like with bright double yellow lines, but also a repaired sea wall and railings.

It was marvellous that it was completed so quickly, and in time for some Easter parading. Just a shame DCC could not organise some Easter sunshine too!
