A PARISH council has received a certificate marking its participation in a country-wide litter picking event.

Hennock Parish Council proudly showed off its certificate for taking part in the Great British Spring Clean earlier in the year.

The Great British Spring Clean is the nation’s biggest mass-action environmental campaign: Hennock Parish Council hosted a litter picking event and filled as many as ten bags worth of litter from walking in and around the area.
