THE footpath leading from Dartmouth Castle car park to Castle Cove is to remain closed until the results of a geo-technical survey become available.
A section of the path collapsed recently and blocked the access to the bathing platforms at high tide.
South Hams Council is reviewing the cost options for re-opening the path, but the public have been warned to keep away due to the dangers of further collapse and visitors being cut off by the tide.
