A YOUNG Teignmouth woman was devastated when her handbag containing a mobile phone, credit cards and cash, was stolen in a nightclub.

But modern technology quickly tracked down the thief, who was arrested nearby by police, writes John Ware.

Now Becky Haddock is full of praise for a special smartphone app, Find My iPhone, which worked a treat. She was with a group of friends in the Park Lane club on Torquay harbourside when a sneak thief took her handbag while she was dancing. The bag was emptied and discarded in the toilets.
