I would like to thank those sponsors, namely Mariners Weigh, Dave's Car Services, Shaldon Pot Office, The Beachcomber, Londis, Cirrus Developments and Sleeman & Hawken, who sponsored the seven races and those who kindly donated prizes for the eight races, being Adam Willis, Richard Salmon, Fulfords and Old Walls Vineyard.
This successful fun night raised £314 for Rowcroft Hospice, at the Royal Standard Inn, Shaldon, who kindly donated the money for the event to be held.
Such was the enjoyment of the event and the mood of the evening that some of the revellers continued the fun at the Ferryboat Inn, adding a further £55 to the benefit of Rowcroft Hospice. The final amount totalled £369.
My thanks to all those who took part and gave so generously, and to Adrian Byng for providing the pigs, the music and humour for the evening.
