A public consultation is to be held to seek local residents’ views on plans for new homes in East Kingskerswell.

The Crown Estate is consulting on proposals for 170 new homes as well as a new Public Hall. If given planning consent, the plans would also see investment in walking and cycling routes as well as local transport infrastructure. The site has been identified for this purpose in Teignbridge District Council’s Local Plan.

The Crown Estate will be holding consultation events across two consecutive days to showcase the proposals and gain feedback from residents. The drop-in events will take place at Kingskerswell C of E Primary School, Coffinswell Lane on the following days:

• Friday 4th November, 4pm – 8pm, and

• Saturday 5th November, 10am – 2pm.

Toby Hudson, Strategic Land Manager at The Crown Estate, said:

“East Kingskerswell represents a great opportunity to build high quality homes in addition to a new Public Hall and associated walking, cycling and local infrastructure improvements. We are keen to hear the views of the community and we’re looking forward to hearing what people think of the proposals.”
