PLANS for a stable block and to fell eight birch trees are among the latest planning applications submitted across Teignbridge.

Every week dozens of planning applications are submitted to the local councils, and the coronavirus pandemic has not changed that.

The application to fell eight silver birch trees is among this week’s planning applications to Teignbridge Council.

The trees are in a rear garden in a cul-desac at Ashburton Road Newton Abbot. The trees are described as ‘over mature’ and in a large group of trees and the aim is that by felling some it will allow young silver trees to develop further.

Among other plans are for a stable block and store on a field at Land east of Normans Daccombe.

There is also an application for change of use from agricultural land at Tucketts Farm, Netherton, to wild a camping facility including moveable composting toilets from Easter until September.
