THE public will tomorrow have the chance to see outline impressions of a major development proposed for Bovey Tracey.
Nineteen hectares – approximately 47 acres – of land at Challabrook has been identified in the Teignbridge Local Plan as a strategic site suitable for mixed use development, to include mixed industrial units, office space – and up to 270 new homes.
Rule Five Land Ltd are promoting the development and will be hosting a day of consultation when early designs and the layout for the proposal will be on show.
Rule Five’s Guy Langworthy said: ‘It will be a chance for people to see our plans and indicative drawings of the proposal. This is a consultation on the design,’ he stressed. ‘It is simply to give a flavour of what we want to do and to get people’s impressions.
‘We will have staff and representatives there on the day to talk to people and explain our proposals.’
The consultation takes place tomorrow, at the Methodist Church Hall in Le Molay-Littry Way from 2pm to 7pm.
