PLANS for homes on the only remaining parcel of development land in Ipplepen have been thrown out because the complex did not include any much-needed affordable homes.­

Teignbridge Council planning officers had recommended refusal of the scheme for eight new properties in Tremlett Grove because they believe the site has the capacity for more homes and to include a number of affordable houses.
