POLICE have launched an appeal for witnesses following a spat between two women outside a Shaldon pub.
The argument broke out at the London Inn on The Green when the two women became involved in an altercation over their dogs.
Both women had been sitting at separate tables outside the front of the pub when the argument flared up.
Officers are investigating allegations of assault after one of the women suffered reddening to her neck and her top was ripped.
The women were not known to each other.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the row or was in the area at the time.
The incident happened at about 4pm on Sunday, October 2.
