Police called after collision incident

POLICE were called to deal with a road rage incident in Newton Abbot yesterday teatime.

Officers turned up at Linden Terrace after tempers ran high over a disturbance involving the drivers of two vehicles.

A police spokesman said a Vauxhall Astra was allegedly involved in a collision with a parked-up VW Golf.

‘There was a verbal altercation between the drivers of the two vehicles. No damage is reported and no arrests have been made in connection with the incident,’ said the spokesman after the 5pm shouting match.
