DOGS which allegedly killed another in Newton Abbot have been seized by police as part of their inquiries into the incident.

Officers were called to the Chercombe Valley Road area of Bradley Barton on Saturday evening after two dogs – a Staffordshire bull terrier and an Akita-type hound – savaged a 13-year-old Shih tzu, which died at the scene.
