NEWTON ABBOT Town Council’s annual town meeting is scheduled for Saturday April 9.

The meeting, to be held along Courtenay Street between 10am and 2pm, is an opportunity to meet and the town councillors, ask them questions and provide feedback and comments.

There is also a range of Easter-themed activities for children happening in the town.

With everything from egg decorating and ballon modelling to an opportunity to meet the town’s mascot ‘Newton’ and a chance to get involved in some Easter mischief, courtesy of the ‘Chick Eggs’, will be on offer.

In addition to these activities there will also be a LEGO trail with free maps available from the museum and library.

The following weekend, Saturday April 16, there is a free chocolate egg give-away from the town’s councillors and a live performance from Spectrum Music.
