IT was a night of victory last Thursday for the Lib Dem members on Teignbridge Council as the party came up trumps with two ‘spectacular’ by-election wins.

Held in Bovey Tracey and Chudleigh, the elections were a result of the deaths of Cllrs Anna Klinkenberg and Patricia Johnson-King.

The two new district councillors are Chudleigh mayor Richard Keeling, who stormed home with 680 votes, and Bovey Tracey’s Sally Morgan who bagged 838 votes.
