Swimmers can look forward to better facilities thanks to a National Lottery Award given to Chudleigh Community Project for the town's pool.

The £40,000 award from Sport England's Inspired Facilities Olympic legacy funding will fund a refurbishment and relining of the pool.

The project is one of 46 across the south west to get a grant.

All the facilities will carry the London 2012 Inspire mark – celebrating the link to the Olympic Games in the capital.
