Thanks to a raft of hard working volunteers and generous business sponsorship deals, the Chudleigh Swimming Pool has opened for the summer season. The pool is operated by the Chudleigh Community Project and this year boasts a greater range of attractions to suit the differing needs of the population. A new session for the over 50s has been introduced and from July aquarobics will be available. In addition, there is early bird lane swimming, adult-only sessions and public evening swims. Children are well catered for with a range of activities including toddler splash, fun clubs, and the teenage chill in which 13 to 19-year-olds can swim and sunbathe with friends. The pool can also be hired for private events.
