A Bishopsteignton publicity firm is celebrating after a new client appeared on prime-time TV just a week after signing up to the public relations agency.
Natalie Trice Publicity bagged Mood Bears a spot on This Morning with Cat Deeley and Ben Shepherd where the brightly coloured plushies stole the hearts of viewers.
Each of the eight brightly coloured bears represents a different emotion, from happiness and sadness to calm, love and hope. The bears are aimed at improving emotional literacy and improving emotional wellbeing.
‘We mentioned that sofa in our initial calls with Natalie, but not in a million years did we think it would happen in week one,’ commented Mood Bears director of branding Leona Burton.
‘This wasn’t just another client win, it was a heartfelt hell yes,’ said Natalie. ‘As a mother, author and advocate, I know how vital emotional wellbeing is, especially for children. I’ve spent my career helping brands share stories that matter, and Mood Bears fits that brief in every way. We’re not just chasing headlines, we’re building a lasting legacy for a brand that’s changing lives.’
‘As children return to school and mental health conversations vital, we want people to know about Mood Bears,’ said Mood Bears founder Jo Proud, who was inspired to launch her company after navigating her own mental health journey.
‘Our 2024 research with over 40 UK families proved the impact: 100 % saw improved emotional recognition, 89 % reported reduced anxiety and stress, and 90 % noted fewer angry outbursts,’ she explained. ‘Natalie immediately understood these aren’t just pretty plushies, they are a support system,’ she added. Seeing us on This Morning within our first week confirmed this was the right partnership.’
Natalie is also celebrating a personal win this week after being shortlisted as a finalist for the Woman Who Solopreneur of the Year awards.
