Children from as young as two will be able to access childcare at a primary school in Teignmouth from September.
Our Lady and St Patrick’s (OLSP) will extend its nursery provision to include places for two-year-olds from September 4. The move is in response to increasing demand for early years provision from local families.
The school believes that extending its provision to two-year-olds will provide early support to families and help children settle into the structure and social experience of early education sooner.
‘We’ve seen a noticeable rise in enquiries from parents of younger children, particularly with more families returning to work and the wider availability of funded places for eligible two-year-olds. This expansion allows us to meet that need and help build a strong foundation for lifelong learning,’ commented OLSP headteacher Cathy Blatchford.
