A public meeting is being held next Wednesday to enable the public to catch up with the town's regeneration project.
Three main areas will be looked at during the meeting, at the London Hotel – an update on where the project is to date, a public launch of the regeneration brochure, a welcome to the new management committee and a launch of the new phase.
A spokesman said the project was 'now at a very exciting stage, whre local people's ideas will start to be developed and the theme groups will be the lead within this process.
'Teignmouth Regeneration Project are very keen that the local community lead this process and that they become involved in the theme groups.
'This is an opportunity for the local community to make real steps forward for their local area, but it must have their input and involvement to succeed.'
