Charity fundraisers in Kingsteignton have set themselves a target of at least £1,000 to support two causes close to their hearts.

One is the town's open air community swimming pool which relies entirely on donations for its survival.

Earlier this month it was announced that only thanks to a mammoth effort and last-minute donations had it found the £32,000 needed for a new boiler, a bill that came in on top of the annual £52,000 running costs.
