BUYING the redundant community resource centre in Kingsteignton could cost the town council £300,000, it has been revealed.

That is the valuation carried out on behalf of the town council as it discusses whether to buy the site, the only remaining piece of green space in the town.

But the total cost would be higher as this does not include a bill for demolishing the asbestos-ridden building off Greenhill Way.
