CHUDLEIGH is skating to success on the leisure and sporting front with almost £300,000 worth of projects either completed or set to begin.

Next month work starts on a new skate park in Millstream Meadow. Costing £100,000 it has been funded by grant income from Sport England and Viridor Environmental Credits.

Chudleigh Town Council has a £12,500 commuted sum from developer Cavanna for maintenance and leisure facilities on land it gave the council at Millstream Meadow, Culver Green and Twin Oaks.
