RESIDENTS, community groups and professionals are being invited to RISE Recovery in Newton Abbot tomorrow (Wednesday) for an open day.
RISE Recovery provides support and treatment for residents across south Devon who have an issue with drug or alcohol use. The open day will showcase the services on offer as well as giving the community chance to chat to service users about their experiences at a recovery café.
The event at the RISE centre in Templar House, Scott Close, will run from 10am-2pm with refreshments available. People can visit for as little or as long as they can.
Experts from the service will give presentations about some of the hot topics of the moment such as the new NPS legislation soon to be in force. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions and learn about drug and alcohol misuse.
Locality lead Heidi Clawson said: ’If you are a concerned family member looking for advice or a professional keen to understand the service better, there will be something on offer for everyone.’
Everyone is welcome from 10am-2pm. To find out more about RISE Recovery visit www.riserecovery.org.uk
