Young horse riders have proved there is room in their hearts for more than their beloved beasts.

Members of the Haldon Riding Stables decided to help two of their friends who are living with life-threatening conditions.

Maddy Lovell, 23, from Exminster, has a terminal brain tumour, while two-year-old Libby Gregory, from Kingsteignton, is awaiting a major organ transplant.

Both enjoy their time at the stables which they visit whenever they can.
