BUDDING gardener Roger Ware, from Newton Abbot, has been celebrating success after raking up some trophies, certificates and rosettes.

Mr Ware won the best allotment in Coach Road and the best overall allotment in all five sites in Newton Abbot.

The grandfather spends a lot of time at his allotment with friends so the hard work has paid off.
