WORK began this week on £5.5 million improvements around the Drumbridges roundabout which carries the A382 Newton Abbot-Bovey Tracey road across the A38.

It will include installing motion sensitive traffic signals and widening the A382 between Drumbridges and Battle Road, Heathfield, to increase the capacity on the roundabout and allow more traffic movement.
