HEAVENLY creation... visually impaired sculptor Ruairi Corr stands with one of the five angels he has made with the help of Hannahs-based blacksmith Rob Hills at the Seale-Hayne complex.
Altogether five galvanised steel statues have been produced by the pair who have worked together before.
The duo were originally commissioned to produce a pair of the impressive celestial stunners – but they proved so popular that another trio came off the assembly line to satisfy more collectors.
Inspired Ruairi made all components himself with assistance, and then constructed each angel by welding all the parts together.
One of the angels is now on show in the Westcountry Makers’ Exhibition which is showcasing work by some of the best artists and makers from across the south west.
The exhibition is on in the Gallery at Seale-Hayne until June 26.
