LIBERAL Democrat member for Teignbridge South, Cllr Alistair Dewhirst, has raised concerns about safety in Yon Street, Kingskerswell.

Despite repeated warnings to Devon County Council and Galliford Try the reinstatement of the speed hump by the church has not happened since the road reopened more than two months ago.

Cllr Dewhirst believes that the contractor, Galliford Try, is more interested in opening the new South Devon Highway than ensuring the safety of residents in Yon Street and Huxnor Road.
