A BUSINESSWOMAN from Newton Abbot caught up in last month's Hurricane Sandy devastation in New York is still getting to grips with the massive fallout from the superstorm, writes Paul James.
Samantha Mair, originally from the Bakers Park area of the town, has been helping pick up tons of debris from some of the ravaged city parks.
'It's an excuse to crack out the wellies and get muddy,' declared 30-year-old Sam (pictured right), a former pupil at Torquay Grammar School for Girls who also worked part-time in Newton Abbot's Boots store.
