Hannahs is urging people to sign up and take part in the Plymouth Santa Fun Run this year, on Sunday December 10.
The Newton Abbot charity is one of two beneficiary charities of the event organised by Saltram Rotary Club. The other is Plymouth’s Jeremiah’s Journey.
Every year hundreds of runners take part and raise lots of money for local charities. Runners of all ages run through Plymouth city centre. The run is 4k, with a 2.5k run for children, and every runner is given a free Santa suit to keep.
Hayley Dann, of Hannahs, said: ’We’re delighted to be selected as one of the charities to benefit from Plymouth’s Santa Fun Run again this year.
’We love working with Saltram Rotary, they are an amazing group of people and put lots of hard work into getting this fantastic event organised.
’We are working hard with them to try and achieve 1000 runners this year – we can’t wait to see all the red Santas together including many of our own young people who are supported by our charity thanks to this amazing event.’
