The secret is out of the bag – Bovey Tracey U10s football team, the Foresters, have revealed their recent good form may well be down to their sponsor's sausages.
Whites, of Bovey, sponsor the team and have named their best selling sausage after the side.
When the Bovey Forester Sausage went on sale for the first time, the team turned out to celebrate.
John White – pictured with some of the players – of Great Meadow Farm, said: 'I wanted to produce a sausage with a link to the town, and to call it after the boys' football team seemed to be a natural choice.'
