Last month headteacher Martin Harding was named the region's best primary leader in the south west finals of the national Teaching Awards.

Now the school has been given the National Association of Advisers in Computer Education award for its use of technology to support children's learning.

It is a feat achieved by just four per cent of schools nationwide.

Anne Whiteley, Devon County Council's director of children and young people's services, dropped in on Friday to make the presentation.
