Dawlish Scouts, like those all over the country, were busy in the community.

A number of Scouts, leaders and an eager Beaver assisted at the Sure Start Community Sensory Garden project beside Westcliff School where they now cleared the site, turned over the soil and marked out the flower beds.

Materials were due to arrive to put in the paths and then planting could begin.

Carole Wainwright, assistant Scout leader lst Dawlish Scout Group, said:?'There have been some generous donations to this community garden project but if anyone wants to donate some bedding plants, or cottage garden plants they would be gratefully received.'
