NOMINATIONS are invited for Bovey Tracey’s Representative of the Lord of the Manor for 2016-2017.
The position is currently held by former long-serving town councillor Dorreen Black.
The honorary title is awarded at the town council’s annual meeting, which this year is on Monday, May 9.
It is presented to a Bovey Tracey or Heathfield resident, who, in the opinion of the town council, has made a significant voluntary contribution to the parish during the previous ten years and should be publicly recognised.
Anyone who would like to nominate someone to be considered for the award should contact the town hall office for a nomination form and the criteria for nomination. Serving councillors are not eligible.
Completed forms should be returned by April 18 to the Bovey Tracey Town Council, Town Hall, Bovey Tracey.
Further information can be obtained by contacting the clerk Mark Wells by email to [email protected] or by telephoning 01626 834217.
