MUSIC lovers who are attending the highly anticipated BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend will have to leave their selfie sticks behind.
The device has been banned from Big Weekend - which takes place at Powderham Castle on May 28 and 29 - along with laser pens and megaphones.
If you have been slaving away making banners to display at the spectacle, you’ll be disappointed as they are also banned.
And if you were thinking about bringing your own lunch, sorry you are also out of luck.
The BBC website says: ‘No food or drink can be taken into the site - with the exception of personal supplies of water in a plastic container with an unbroken seal (up to 500ml per person); or special medical supplies (please bring a doctor’s note if these are not obviously medicinal).
The website went on to say: ‘Food will be available from a wide range of outlets inside the arena - including options for vegetarians and those with gluten intolerance.
‘Those with nut allergies are advised to check carefully with individual stall holders.
‘Free drinking water will be available at a number of points; as well as stalls selling tea, coffee and soft drinks.’
Other items that have been banned from the event includes flags, chairs, large umbrellas and chinese lanterns.
