TWO men and a woman from Teignbridge have been charged with conspiracy to falsely imprison and ill-treat vulnerable adults at a Bishopsteignton care home which has since closed.
Police named them as Paul Hewitt, 68, Russell Hewitt, 40, and Emma Turner 27 – all from the Teignmouth area. They are among seven adults to be charged in connection with the treatment of 11 residents at three homes in Devon, two of them in north Devon.
The offences are alleged to have been committed between January 2010 and December 2011.
All those charged have been bailed to appear at Exeter Magistrates' Court on October 28.
