Sheep sales returned to Chagford for the first time in more than a decade on Saturday, with firm prices reflecting an upturn in interest.
On offer were more than 100 store lambs, each selling for up to £79. The best prices paid for the 40 ewes available was £126 which the Greyface Dartmoors of Chagford's Mary Kirkham fetched.
Among the rams, Nick Burrington, of Exeter, achieved £250 for his Poll Dorsets, while Oliver Mortimore's Texels were knocked down at £260.
