The Devon County Show has long championed the cause of tasty, top quality, affordable and, above all, local food and drink.

On Wednesday, it launched a new online food directory listing local producers, from the smallest artisan food producer to the largest dairy and estate.

The directory is a follow-up to the show's sell-out cookbook The Very Best of Devon on a Plate, and highlights sources of great local food.
