Sid bid to get speeders to slow down

Speeding drivers in Kingsteignton have been warned that the days of ignoring the limits are coming to an end and that they will soon be finding fixed penalty notices popping through the letterbox.The fines will come complete with at least three penalty points and for drivers with a track record of disregarding the rules that could be enough to tip them over and leave them with a ban.On Tuesday officers took to the streets with a Sid, an electronic speed indication device, in a bid to drive home one last time the message that speeding is unacceptable.
