ASHBURTON'S town clerk John Germon is usually to be found in these pages chivvying council officials over holes in the road, overgrown vegetation and the myriad other queries which cross his desk.
Now he has chosen to share his gentler side with an inquiry about primroses.
Intrigued by reports that Ashburton had some unusual primroses with six, rather than the usual five petals, John set out with his camera.
