THERE was a scarce amount of hungry villagers in Chagford on Saturday as the village hosted its biggest breakfast.
The event, organised by Chagford’s Cancer Research UK committee, raised £429 for the charity with around 100 people popping in for a snack.
Jane Bearder, who is on the committee, said the day went extremely well and everyone who attended really enjoyed it.
The charity breakfast was held at the village’s Endicott House.
