CHUDLEIGH Carnival queen Sophia Andrews was crowned by Lady Clifford at a ceremony in the picturesque grounds of the Clifford family ancestral home Ugbrooke House, on Sunday.

Sophia, 16, attends Teign School, Kingsteignton, and is hoping to go to Cambridge University to study mythology and history.

The latter is one of her hobbies and she also enjoys contemporary dancing.
