ALTHOUGH he was disappointed with the points margin, Kingsteignton professional boxer Jamie Speight was delighted to 'put the record straight' in his top-of-the-bill rematch with Bideford's John Van Emmenis at Torquay's Riviera Centre on Saturday night.As reported in the Advertiser last Friday, Speight was determined to show Van Emmenis that the 59-56 points win he was awarded in his first tussle with the north Devon boxer back in October was no fluke after his opponent had been quoted in the press saying that he thought he had done enough to earn a draw at the very least.
