CHRIS Webb presents a cheque for £1,622 to youngsters at the Chudleigh Millennium Youth Centre. The 58-year-old former chairman of Chudleigh Town Council raised the money from a sponsored 38 miles walk from Chudleigh to Smeaton's Tower, Plymouth, on the weekend of April 9 and 10. Worried that financial cutbacks by Devon County Council could see a reduction in help for youth services, Chris decided to do his bit for the Chudleigh Youth Centre in case it was hit.
