TWO lucky Teignbridge residents have won a recycling goody bag courtesy of the district council.
Kingsteignton’s Colin Williams and Dawlish’s Mr Church bagged themselves a set of recycled wine glasses, a left overs cook book and various food waste reducers – as part of Teignbridge’s Operation Stack campaign.
The scheme encourages residents to stack their recycling boxes and food waste containers on collection days.
Mr Williams thanked Teignbridge for the prize. He said: ‘This has been the topic of conversation at the Royal British Legion club. I hope this will bring further awareness to the importance of recycling within the community.’
The authority’s executive for environment services Cllr Kevin Lake congratulated the winners.
