Vic Elliott, the district's oldest serving councillor, remains critically ill after being run over by his own tractor. Cllr Elliott, 87, who farms at Ipplepen, received multiple injuries in the accident, which happened on June 28. On Thursday, a spokesman for Teignbridge Council said Cllr Elliott was still being nursed in intensive care.
