A BUSINESSMAN has been left stunned by an arson attack on his storage yard outside Ipplepen, writes Paul James.

And it's not the first time that Torquay-based Adrian Scott has been the victim of fire-raisers.

Four years ago, in an unconnected attack, offenders torched two of his camper vans at premises he ran in Collaton St Mary, Paignton. This time he lost £6,000 worth of vehicles and goods after match-happy raiders pounced at his railside depot, near Wrigwell Lane, just after 6pm on Tuesday.

Nearly 50 firefighters from across south Devon tackled the substantial blaze through the night just off the Marldon to Ipplepen road near the Park Hill service station.
