A DEVELOPER have made the first move in its bid to build 70 new homes on the outskirts of Kingsteignton.
Planning agent Martyn Stutchbury has submitted a request to Teignbridge planners for a screening opinion, the first stage before applying for outline planning permission, for the 4.5 hectare site at Penns Mount.
The aim is to develop about 70 houses, create a public park and footpaths as well as new access for vehicles off Vicarage Road.
The official submission by developer Cordex Land Promotions follows a public exhibition held in Kingsteignton several weeks ago to which about 80 people turned out to see the proposals for themselves.
