A MAN who made indecent images of children at Newton Abbot has been given a suspended prison sentence.
William Siddall-King, aged 34, of Collingwood Avenue, Plymouth, admitted a charge of making 16 Category A indecent images of a child at Newton Abbot.
He also pleaded guilty at Newton Abbot to making 23 Category C indecent images of a child.
The term ‘making’ refers to downloading from the internet.
South and West Devon Magistrates' Court sentenced him to 16 weeks in prison, suspended for two years. He must also carry out a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement of a maximum of 35days and do 80 hours of unpaid work over the next year.
He was also fined £100 and must pay costs of £85 and £122 to fund victim services.
